Hi I'm Todd

I'm from Utah, I play basketball, I played drumline, I love rollercoasters, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old, and I am a freshman at BYU (Brigham Young University). I am all things basketball, and that is my main form of exercise. I am currently (as of February 20th, 2013) serving a LDS mission in Independence Missouri. I am also very musically inclined and I play the piano, drums, and I sing. I was in marching band in drumline, and I played the tenor drums. I really enjoy everything around me in life, and I love people. Making friends is fun!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to parents that were both already members. But that is not the biggest reason why I am a Mormon. I had to find out for myself if being a member of this church was right for me. One night, I knew that I had to find out for myself if the Book of Mormon was true. I was about 15 when I was about to finish the Book of Mormon for the first time. I am a big Utah Jazz fan, and they had a really important game that night. But I knew that I needed to find time during the game to finish the Book of Mormon, and pray about it. So I read the last chapter, and got on my knees to pray. It is here that I realize that answers to prayers do not come immediately. I waited and went about my business. But later that night, I felt this feeling that I had not ever felt before, and from that point on, I knew without a doubt that this is the true church on the earth today. I will never forget that feeling.

How I live my faith

I am serving a mission right now for my faith, and I love sharing the gospel. I had a calling in my church right before my mission, and that was a Primary teacher. Primary teachers teach the children anywhere from 4 years old to 11 years old. I had the 6 turning 7 years old. As a teacher, I taught them the basics of our faith, and that was great experience in preparation of my mission.
