Hi I'm Hannah

I'm a girl from Virginia enjoying her time in Utah. I'm a lover of food and fun. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a born and raised Virginia girl with a passion for food, sports, and friends. I'm currently a student at Brigham Young University in Utah as a Psychology major. I lived in Colorado and Wyoming for 18 months serving a mission for my church! I love to sing and love sharing that talent with the world. My family recently grew as I got married and gained a whole new side of my family, in addition to my two parents, four siblings, and wonderful dog.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a member of the church and have been working towards developing my testimony ever since. My true conversion wasn't through a miraculous moment of inspiration, but rather from a gradual developing over time. I gained a testimony through following what the leaders of the church have asked us to do and simply going to church, reading the Book of Mormon, and following the commandments. I got down on my knees one night when I was young and asked (after the manner of Moroni 10:3-4) if the Book of Mormon was true. I was able to gain a knowledge that is was, and have known it ever since. I'm a Mormon because it's the true church on the earth today, and because I know that through it, I will be able to live with my Heavenly Father and my elder brother Jesus Christ again one day. And that is an awesome feeling.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through my example, and my participation in my ward. At home, I served in youth callings while growing up that helped me to develop leadership qualities that were greatly needed once I went to college. In my first two semesters at college, I served as 3rd counselor in my ward's Relief Society (a women's group), helped to manage visiting teaching for the women in my ward and also help support the president. These callings have helped to strengthen my testimony and to grow so much as a person while serving women in my ward.

Are Mormons Christians?

Most definitely! We share, as members of the Church, a message of Jesus Christ. We fully believe in his divine mission and ministry on this earth and know that through Him, we can live with our Heavenly Father again one day. We hope that everyone will want to know of His mercy and love for all. Show more Show less
