Hi I'm Sheralyn

I'm an energetic lover of life. I'm an avid swimmer. I'm a lifeguard. I'm a missionary. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music and words. I play the piano and harp, and I talk endlessly at a rapid pace. I have a vivacious love for life, and my level of energy and passion bubble from me like a steamy pot of hot chocolate. I am a competitive swimmer, and I relish the sensation of well earned success. I believe in hard work and in having fun. I value laughter and cherish it as one of the most precious pastimes. I have been called to serve as a Missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I will serve in the West Virginia Charleston Mission for 18 months, beginning in May 2013. I am an extremely excited and passionate person! I am replete with passion for my family, for success, for delicious food, and for joy. Passion for hard work, for truth, for service. Passion for what I stand for, and passion for what I believe.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church, and I am blessed with ancestors who followed the gospel of Christ. But I am not a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because of tradition or expectation. I am a Mormon because I know that Jesus is the Christ. Because I know that my Savior suffered for me with unconditional love so that I could be forgiven of my mistakes. I am a Mormon because I know that families can be together forever. Because through Christ's atonement, and Heavenly Father's mercy, I know that I can return to live with them again. I am a Mormon because I know that Christ will mold me into something greater than I could ever become on my own. I am a Mormon because I have a passion for truth, because I love my Savior, Jesus Christ, who is truth. I am a Mormon because I know it, because I live it, and because I love it. I am a Mormon because this is the true gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

"It may not be at the battle's front My Lord will have need of me. But if, by a still, small voice he calls To paths that I do not know, I'll answer, dear Lord, with my hand in thine: I'll go where you want me to go. I'll go where you want me to go, dear Lord, Over mountain or plain or sea; I'll say what you want me to say, dear Lord; I'll be what you want me to be." I live my faith by following my Savior in loving obedience. I live my faith by being the person He wants me to be, and by serving those around me to serve my Savior, and to grow closer to Him in love.
