Hi I'm Kato Kakala Haupeakui

I was born in New Zealand, raised in California, oldest and the only girl of my siblings, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Im the oldest of four, and the only girl in my family. Im the first in my family to serve a mission. I am currently serving in the Roseville California Mission! and I absolutely love it!

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because, it just seemed so different from the other churches. I have a lot of family members that are apart of other religions, mostly Catholic and Methodist, I attend their church occasionally for certain functions. And for myself I feel the spirit at all the churches, but in LDS chapel I feel at peace and at one with the spirit. One of many things that I love about this church, is the great plan of salvation. Its almost been a five years since my father passed away, and although he is gone I know that I will see him again, and I'll be with him for eternity. My family and I were able to be sealed together in Los Angeles temple, so I know that through this great plan of salvation we will all be united with our loved ones.

How I live my faith

I am currently a teacher, and its been about six months, and I absolutely love it. Its my first calling, and I was scared and nervous at first, but I have awesome women in my class that always contribute which makes it a lot easier for me. I go to church every Sunday, I currently attend two wards. My home ward, and the Young Single Adults Ward. I attend the YSA because of their great mission prep class.
