Hi I'm Erica Pratt

I'm a student and I'm studying to become an English teacher. I love life, I love reading and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of seven kids- five girls and two boys. Right now I am a college student, and I am majoring in English. I love reading, and I love discussing the things I read. I love life! Everything from paper snowflakes and hot chocolate in the winter, to rain and falling leaves in the fall. In my spare time (back when I had spare time) I love reading, watching good movies, hanging out with friends or singing at the top of my lungs to my favorite musical. Life is just fun! I've learned that sometimes you have to find joy in the small things, and I love taking those moments to enjoy small things.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love the Book of Mormon. It has brought me far closer to Christ than I could ever be on my own. It has brought me strength when times were rough, and joy when life was wonderful. I believe that it is the word of God, and through this book, he is able to speak to me.

How I live my faith

Our religion is not a "Sunday" religion, it is a way of life. Everything I do and everything I say should be in line with my testimony of Jesus Christ. I practice my faith by working diligently as a student, by strengthening my relationship with my family, and being good to those around me. I do this by following his commandments, seeking his spirit and striving to emulate my Savior. As I live my religion I find that everything seems to go better in my life. I like myself, I love my family and most importantly, my relationship with the Lord is better. I find joy in the little things and receive strength during trials. :) Living my religion is one of the most wonderful things I have the opportunity of doing!
