Hi I'm Holli

I love to travel. I love being active and exercising. I love my family more than anything. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student studying exercise physiology. I hope to be a personal trainer someday. I love being involved in helping people succeed with their goals and help them with their lives. I'm currently serving an LDS mission in Kobe Japan. This has been a wonderful blessing in my life and has testified to me of the love that my Father has for me. Devoting 18 months of my life to serve Heavenly Father and bringing others to the knowledge of the Gospel brings me more happiness than can be explained in words. I know that serving my mission will make me a better person, wife, and eventually mother. My faith in God has strengthened greatly in this time knowing that He truly has a divine plan for each of His children. I'm the only girl in a family of boys and I wouldn't trade it for anything! My brothers are my best friends! I also love my parents so much. Both my mom and dad have sacrificed so much for me so that I can have a happy life. I know they love me infinitely and my love to them is the same. I have a strong testimony about the power of family. I feel that the family unit is one of the most sacred things we can be apart of on this earth and also eternally. I love this gospel and have a strong conviction to learn something new everyday. The gospel has brought me more happiness in my life than I could have imagined. I am truly happy, and I am excited when I wake up to know that I can help someone new each and everyday. I love my life!

Why I am a Mormon

I've always grown up in the Mormon church, but I couldn't imagine my life any differently. My grandfather was a convert to the church and without that, I don't think I would be here today. I have such a love for the gospel and I love striving to become closer to my Savior. Being a Mormon makes me happy. I've lived my life virtuously and have made good decisions so that I can live with my Heavenly Father again. I have a light in my life with this gospel that I hope I can share with all people I come in contact with. I know by being a member of this church, I am following the path that my Father in Heaven wants me to take.

How I live my faith

As I live my faith, the biggest thing for me is to remember to read my scriptures everyday. I love the scriptures so much, especially the Book of Mormon, and know that the words are inspired and were given to us to help us to be happy and give us guidance. I also pray morning and night. In the morning I ask for inspiration to help those who may be in need, and at night I thank my Heavenly Father for the things He has given me that day and the blessings that I've received. I've helped in many callings in the church, specifically being able to help the women in the wards I've been in. I've always felt so much love for these women as I've been involved in their lives and have been their friend. Monday nights are also some of my favorite times as well. We do family home evening every Monday and it is so much fun. Spending that time with my family has made some of the best memories in my life. I love my family! Going to church every week has also made a huge impact on my life as well and I know that when I sacrifice that time to my Heavenly Father to learn more about Him and His Son Jesus Christ, I am strengthened and blessed in more ways than I can imagine.
