Hi I'm Spencer

I'm currently studying business. I love the outdoors and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Spencer. I'm 22 years old. I am currently going to school, working towards a business degree. My parents are divorced. My dad is remarried and my mom is single. I have two sisters and one half brother. I love the outdoors. Camping, fishing, boating, you name it and I love it. My family and I are big into four wheeling. We go camping and four wheeling all the time. We ride everywhere, but our favorite place to ride is the sand dunes. I love sports. Basketball and football are my favorites. Golfing and mountain biking are on the top list for sure. I love writing, whether it is poetry or just writing in general like a journal, I love it! One of my goals in life is to write a book that can help people feel good about life the same way I do. I love my life! I am single and have no kids. I can’t wait to have a family of my own. I don’t live my life the way I do because I am obligated too nor because I feel as if I have too. I live my life the way I do because I want to!

Why I am a Mormon

When Jesus Christ came to this earth he established a church, which was formed upon 12 apostles and his authority, Christ himself being the corner stone (Ephesians 2: 20). Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13: 8). With that being said, if Christ formed his church like that when he came to this earth and he is the same always, then his church would and is the same today, with 12 apostles who have been called of him and have received his authority and Christ himself being the same corner stone or "head" of his church. I am a Mormon because The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints is the only church on this earth that I know of which is formed the same way as the very same church Christ himself established when he lived on the earth. Thomas S. Monson is a living prophet today just like Moses or Adam. He has 12 Apostles just like Christ did and they are all called of God and have been given authority from Jesus Christ. I have read the Bible and the Book of Mormon and they both go hand in hand. They both teach of Christ and they both are witnesses that he lives.

How I live my faith

I believe strongly in "leading by example." I always try and live my life by example and a key part of that example is my faith. I believe that serving others is an important part in this life. I always look for opportunities to serve others in any way possible. I am part of the service committee at my local ward. With the service committee, we plan activities with other members of the church to serve others of our community. We also take part in cleaning our church building, which to us is considered to be the "house of the lord" and our responsibility in keeping it clean. I also am responsible in helping make sure that the men of our ward make priority in visiting and teaching the other members of the ward, as well as helping assist them in their needs. I don’t base my life and my actions on my faith and my beliefs ,but rather, my faith and my beliefs are based on my life and my actions. I live in accordance to Jesus Christ because I know that's the way he would have me live.
