Hi I'm Molly

I grew up in Spokane Washington, but now enjoy living in Florida with my husband and 2 year old son. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have always been an avid soccer and basketball player, but since I have become a wife and mother I have enjoyed finding a new me. I love to cook! I hope to someday be that women that is known for her AMAZING food. I have also found a love for redoing furniture. My home is made up of craigslist, and garage sale finds painted, and distressed. But more then anything else, I love to play with my two year old son. His laughter is contagious and I love to watch him learn and grow.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a Mormon my whole life. When I was little, I went to church because that was what my family did. I enjoyed going but it wasn't until I was older that I learned why I AM a Mormon. I am a Mormon because it makes me a better person. We are taught that we aren't perfect but strive to be. I am a Mormon because I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and has created an amazing plan where he wants me to have a family, make mistakes, and learn from them. I am a Mormon because everyday I see the blessings I have been given. Even through my toughest trials , I still feel that comfort that I am not alone, and that there is a reason for everything. I am a Mormon because it makes me happy and has changed my life, and will change anyone else's life that chooses to following in the Lords plan.

How I live my faith

I currently live my faith by working with the children in our church. I get to teach them on Sundays about our Lord and Savior. As I am preparing each lesson, I pray that they will understand and feel his spirit. What I have come to realize is that I am learning just as much as those small children are. I also am a visiting teacher, which means I have a handful of women that I go and see once a month. I am there to support them, listen to them, and just become friends with them. I have learned to love being a visiting teacher more than any other calling because this is where I have found that "when we are in service of our neighbors, we are in the service of our lord."
