Hi I'm Stacy Ferguson

I grew up in Seattle, Washington. I teach piano lessons. I am a wife, a mother, a grandmother, and I am a Momon.

About Me

I love to read good books, listen to beautiful music, travel to beautiful places and spend time with my family. My best friend is my husband. My 4 kids are our world, including our first grandson! We are on our journey together, on our way back Home. It's a rough, steep road we travel, and definitely NOT the easiest route. There are twists and turns we never would have chosen. It's gone way different than we ever thought it would. We've stumbled a few times, scraped up our knees, and sometimes even doubted we were even able to go the right way. But it's never been too dark to see, too high to climb, too rough to travel or ever too hard to keep going. And even though we never would have chosen the way it's gone, we'd never want to trade it for anything else. It's a beautiful journey! We know where this path is leading us and we won't go anywhere else. We love it. And we know we will make it back Home if we stay on this on this road together.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that it's Jesus Christ's church. He stands at the head. Another reason I am a Mormon is because the Savior and our Heavenly Father speak to us today through a living prophet. We can know what God wants us to do if we listen to our prophet, Thomas S. Monson. Being a Mormon is my only way back Home. I know that Jesus Christ is real. I know He knows me. I know He loves me---I have felt Him! After you have felt that, you do not want anything else. I know that He paid a price for me that no one else could pay. And because He paid that price, I won't have to IF I try to live like Him, the VERY best way I can, and if I make things right when I go wrong. And I know that if I continue this road I am on, it will lead me back Home, to be with my family and with God and with Jesus Christ forever! Why would you want anything less?

How I live my faith

Every day I find something to be grateful for. I read in the Bible and the Book of Mormon to start the day right---sometimes I forget, so I'm still working on this! But every day I pray--many times! I've learned that God really does listen when I pray, and I know that He always has answered me. Prayer is a big part of my life. I try to make someone's life better each day, and make someone feel loved. I try to only surround myself with things that are uplifting and good. The people I choose to spend time with make me want to be better. When I go home from church every Sunday, I try to make those things that I've heard or learned be a part of my life, and I try to use them all during the week. Mostly, I try to focus on Jesus Christ in all I think, say or do.

What is the Relief Society?

Stacy Ferguson
The relief society is a group of women that was organized in 1842. Their purpose is to help each other and watch out for each other. I am a member of the Relief Society. We meets every Sunday in the last hour of church to plan and organize ad also to learn. I get to teach a lesson there once every month. I really enjoy interacting with my Relief Society 'sisters' and friends. I know they are there for me, if I ever need someone to listen or help. I know they really do care. It is so nice to be able to share experiences together and to help someone else who might be in need. I learn so much from the Relief Society. Show more Show less
