Hi I'm Kylee

I am an anthropology student at the University of Wyoming. I grew up in Sandy, Utah. I play lacrosse. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am Kylee. I love sports - I play college lacrosse and I love to watch baseball. My favorite team is the Red Sox. I am studying to become a medical anthropologist in Laramie, Wyoming. I hope to work with nutrition and alternative medicine (like essential oils, chiropractic, etc) in the Public Health Field. I speak Spanish (sorta) and love the language. I also love to study about various religions and am contemplating minoring in Religious Studies. I rode horses for about 8 years then left for school, but I hope to return to that someday in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I cannot imagine it any other way. I have found such peace and comfort in times of trial through this gospel. I have received so many blessing in my life because of my faith. I know that when I need to make a decision, I can rely on my Heavenly Father to lead me to where he wants me to go. I know that through this gospel I can live with my Heavenly Father again. I can live with my family after this life as well. I know that I can receive strength and courage through my faith in His gospel. My faith is everything and the Gift of the Holy Ghost is always with me, helping me to become more Christ-like.

How I live my faith

How do I live my faith? Well I think I start with doing my own scripture study and prayer. I love to read my scriptures and communicate with my Heavenly Father. I am also a Gospel Principles teacher in my Young Single Adult Ward here in Laramie. I teach once a month or so. I love it! I have learned so much through teaching my peers. I also enjoy taking the classes about our gospel offered throughout the week at the church. I learn so much through those Institute classes and it is nice to be surrounded by people also wanting to learn about our loving Heavenly Father and His son, Jesus Christ.
