Hi I'm Joe Webb

I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a lifelong member of the church. However, like everyone else I had to gain a testimony of the gospel for myself. That testimony continues to grow each day. Life is a wonderful thing and life is good. That does not mean we don't all face our personal challenges but life is good. It is not "if" we will have challenges in life, but "how" we react to them, which is sometimes is easier said than done. I spent 16 years in law enforcement and have seen the very best and the very worst of life. The past 16 years I have been in the IT field. I am married, have 5 children, 2 son in laws and my first grandchild coming in December.

Why I am a Mormon

I find the Gospel of Jesus Christ to be very fulfilling. I find this church to teach the fullness of gospel. It does not take away from the good and truth of other demoninations or relgions, but adds to it and makes it complete. I also strongly believe in the plan of salvation as taught by the church, which answers the questions, who am I? where did I come from, why am I here and where am I going after this life.

How I live my faith

I try to be helpful to others.

Are Mormons Christians?

Joe Webb
There should be no doubt that Mormons are Christians. In 2 Nephi 25:26 it says, "And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins." In Matthew 7:20 we read, "Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them." While individual Mormons are not perfect and make mistakes, I invite you to look at the church as a whole. Does it produce good fruit or bad fruit? If you will look at the church and it's various activities you will learn that the church produces "good fruit". You will also learn that Jesus Christ is the "chief corner stone" of this church. We are not only Chrisitians in word but Christians in our actions. Not perfect, but striving to become more like our Savior each and every day. Show more Show less
