Hi I'm Kylie Hicks

I'm a Mormon. I love Life. I am the oldest of four children. I plan to go to Law School.

About Me

I am the oldest of four children, with two brothers and one sister. My brother is one of my best friends. I love my family and I love doing things with them. Some of my favorite moments growing up are the ones with my family where we are laughing together and having fun playing games indoors and out. I have grown up in the same area my whole life and it has been amazing. The people I surround myself all have helped me in my life and have taught me a many different lessons. I am a very social person. I love people and I love meeting new people and hearing their stories. I love serving people around me whether it is by donating items that are needed, listening to their stories or doing kind acts of service. I am happy when I help those around me. I love serving people and that is why I have decided to serve the Lord as a missionary for his church. He has given me so much throughout my life and I know that I can show him how grateful I am for his help by serving those around me. I strive to be the best that I can. I am currently studying at BYU Idaho and hope to one day become lawyer as well as a mother. I love learning and going to school, but I also love other things like doing crafts, dancing and playing sports like volleyball and golf. I love life!

Why I am a Mormon

The reason that I have chosen to be a member of this great church is that it has helped me a great deal throughout my life. I was born into the church as both of my parents were members at the time of my birth. At the age of eight I choose to be baptized as I had a love and a understanding of the good things in the church. I have had a true conversion as I have lived my life and came to the knowledge of how true the church was and how much it came bless a person if they are a part of it and live according to the ways of the Lord. Being a member of the church does not mean that my life was easy or that my faith in the church and its gospel was tested. I had struggles and because of those struggles and trials I have gained a strong testimony. I know that this is the true church and I know that it can bless one’s life. I know that the Book of Mormon was translated by the Prophet Joseph Smith and that it is another testimony of Jesus Christ. I know that my Savior lives and that I can live with Heavenly Father again. I know that there is a Prophet on the Earth today who can guide us here on earth and that the leaders of the church are called of God. I know that everyone has purpose and that if we strive to follow Him and repent when we do wrong we will be blessed.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing the things which the Lord has asked me to do. On a daily basis I live a life where I strive to be good and serve those that are around me. I serve those around my by helping with the children on Sundays at the Church. I help during the week by offering my time to help others or assist others as they serve in the form of babysitting. I strive to be good each day by being honest, kind and dedicated to living the life that I know my Savior would want me to be living. I exercise my faith in the Lord by reading his word and by praying for help and to express my gratitude toward him for the help I have received.
