Hi I'm Jnr Asher

Im lover not a fighter, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music. The way it can set the tone, change moods, express feelings and touch hearts. I have been singing and playing the guitar for as long as i can remember. On a typical day you can find me relaxing on my front porch in my hammock jamming the songs i love. Theres no greater feeling than singing your heart out for the world to hear.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church and taught the gospel by my parents. As i matured and grew i had often heard my parents express their faith and knowledge in the things of the gospel. I simply wanted to know for myself. I wanted to have my own testimony of the things i had been taught all my life. There came a point in my life where i had reached a crossroad. A decision needed to be made. I could no longer rely on what my parents knew, i needed to know for myself i was to continue being apart of the church. I remember reaching for my book of mormon one day, and holding it in my hands. As i looked at it, i realised how important it was in finding out if everything i was taught was true. I knelt down and prayed. I asked god to help me know for myself if the book was true, that i would have no doubt in my mind. i began to read. As i read and read i felt the this warm feeling come over me. One i had never felt before in my life. It burned within me and my eyes began to tear. It felt like i was encircled by warm loving arms. I knew it was the Spirit. The feeling came over me that i had always known these things were true, and the experience i had was divine confirmation.

How I live my faith

I am currently a missionary for the church, which means i have given up the next 2 years of my life to teach others about the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love seeing the change it bring to the lives of everyday people and knowing that i played a part in helping them receive renewed faith and lasting happiness.
