Hi I'm David

I grew up in Missouri. I enjoy learning in general, and investing in stocks. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My two favorite sports are baseball and basketball. I love public speaking! Hanging out with my friends and getting in to trouble is also very enjoyable (not too much trouble of course).

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, so it’s what I have always known. Never the less I was very curious to find out if this was the true faith. My immediate family (mom, dad, and siblings) are the only Mormons in our family. The first place I went to investigate other faiths was to my close family, who were protestant, catholic, and atheist mostly. I knew there is a God, so atheism was out; I attended catholic mass and the spirit that I felt in the Mormon Church just wasn't as strong there, same for the protestant church. They were both good but it felt like something was missing. Next I gave my own church a good look. I read the Book of Mormon and prayed about it. I was given an undeniable conformation that the book or Mormon is true. At the moment I was truly converted to the Mormon Church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through the service that I do. I participate in many service projects to benefit the community, and I have also put some service project together myself. I arrive early at church to help set up chairs and prepare the sacrament. I try to be an example in my home, I am the oldest of four children, and I am getting ready to serve a mission so I make sure our family is reading scriptures and praying together regularly. I live my faith by striving to live as Jesus lived.
