Hi I'm Kent Jack

I like to hike in the mountains. I love my wife very much. I love our kids and grandkids. I like to ride bicycles. I love to BBQ.

About Me

My wife and are going on a mission to Canada in a few weeks. I like to garden. I have been a butcher, restaurant cook, and a truck driver in my life. I have a wonderful wife, three kids and a whole bunch of grandkids.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because my parents were Mormons. This statement needs some clarification added to it. Yes, I grew up with my parents being Mormons. I believed what they taught me, but I didn't have a real strong testimony of the gospel. I didn't go to church for more than twenty years. I finally decided that if I was going to find a good wife, that I needed to come back to church. I now have a firm testimony of Jesus Christ and of his ministry on this earth, of his atonement and the resurrection. I have a strong testimony of the prophet Joseph Smith and the restoration of the gospel. I have a strong testimony that we are receiving direct revelations from our Savior all the time. I am going on this mission with my wife so we can share the love of our Savior with others. I want everyone to be as happy as I am.

How I live my faith

I take care of the records of the members in our church. I go to church on Sundays. I work on service projects as much as possible. I love to help with parties and dinners.

Does The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints endorse political parties?

Kent Jack
The church does not endorse specific political candidates. We do believe that the Constitution of the United States is inspired by God. We have a great reverence for the Constitution. We believe that it is our obligation to support good candidates. We believe that we should run for offices if we can bring some good to the arena. Show more Show less
