Hi I'm Amberly

I'm a wife, student of Family Studies, marriage and relationship blogger, musical lover, and singer of show tunes. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a social, ambitious, busy, woman in my 20's. I am currently going to school and pursuing my major in Family Studies with an emphasis in "the importance of communication and stress management for healthy relationships". I love knowing that my education is going to help me to be a better wife and mother in the future as well as get me into a career field that I love. I am a licensed cosmetologist, but I have taken a break from working in that field while I focus on my education. One day I hope to use my education in a career field that will let me stay at home with my future children. I love spending time with my husband, family and friends. I love movies, eating out, shopping, playgrounds, and rain storms. I have played the piano for as long as I can remember, I played the flute all through Jr. High, and my biggest passion is singing, especially musical theater. I have recently started to pursue my hobby of writing through blogging.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of this church and having a knowledge of the gospel helps me remember who I am and why I am here. It is easier for me to make every day decisions when I know what I believe and stand for. The gospel gives me hope and I find joy in knowing that I will be with my husband and loved ones after death, for eternity.

How I live my faith

Being a member of the church gives me direction and values. I am intentional in everything I do because of the things I believe in and stand for. I'm always striving to be a good example of my religion and the beliefs we have to those around me. I love the association that I have with so many people in my neighborhood and community because I am Mormon. The friends that I make, the amazing individuals that I get the chance to know, and the inspiration that I receive from them on a daily basis makes me who I am.
