Hi I'm Aaron

I'm Australian born and bred. I am studying engineering at university, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love reading and mathematics, as nerdy as that is. Like I said before I am currently studying engineering at university and I love it. I love the challenge and the breadth of the subjects. I enjoy playing sport, with basketball being my most loved sport, which I have played for the last 14 years.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the Church but this doesn't mean that I have not chosen to follow my Savior. There comes a point in time when all must gain a testimony for themselves and know for themselves that the Church is true. I have a strong testimony of love and thankfulness. I know that my Heavenly Father and my Savior love me, and watch over me as I live my day to day life. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only true Church of Jesus Christ on the earth. I know that it was restored to it's fulness by the Prophet Joseph Smith under the direction of our Savior. I know will all my heart that no matter where I am, how alone I feel I can turn to my Heavenly Father in prayer, and He will listen, He will respond with comfort and love greater than any love or comfort that this earth can bring.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday. On Sundays I attend church, catching up friends in young single adults or in elders quorum and often after church we attend firesides together where we can meet other Mormons in the Victoria area. During the week I attend institute with friends from my ward, learning about the Bible of the Book of Mormon. I also attend Mission Preparation class where we learn teaching techniques that will assist me when I serve a mission.
