Hi I'm Sister Camargo

I grew up in Brazil. Moved to America. I am called to serve in the California San Fernando Mission. And I am Mormon

About Me

I was born in Brazil. My whole family are members of the church. When I was in Brazil, my father worked for the church office in Sao Paulo. I finish middle school there and moved to America where I now live with my family. I have 2 siblings, Rebeca and Thiago, both younger than me. I recently was called to serve in the California San Fernando Mission. I am overwhelmed by this calling. I love the church and its principles and doctrines of the gospel. I have a desire to serve the church as a missionary since I was a little girl, and now I have the chance to come true. I love sports, as a Brazilian, my favorite sport is soccer, I try not to miss a game of my favorite team. But my true love is to play volleyball. I also enjoy crafts of every kind, I know how to cross-stitch, crochet, jewelry, painting and so on. I owe these talents to the most beautiful Personal Progress. And I am sure I can use everything I learned with the personal progress in my mission. I love the gospel, and everything that relates to it! Specially my family, and I know we can be forever together.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church, which means I have been to church since birth. My parents were married in the covenants. But everyone who wants to follow the church have the opportunity to read the book of Mormon and prayer about it to know if it is really true. I did it, and since then I tried my best to follow the church's teachings. And I have the opportunity to share with others as a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Later-day Saints.

How I live my faith

I have a calling in church where I help to take care of the children. I help with everything they need. I help them, understand the gospel, and how we can apply in our daily lives. And I see the difference that it makes in their lives as it does in mine.
