Hi I'm Josh

I grew up in central California. I was home schooled until 8th grade. I love sports and reading. And I'm Mormon

About Me

Being home schooled till 8th grade left me socially awkward and uncomfortable around large groups (large as in more than 2 people). But I did not let peer pressure mold me into someone who I knew I wasn't. I made friends by being myself. In high school, I played volleyball throughout all 4 years, it taught me very important life lessons of loses and wins. School became fun and easy once I learned that its not about what we learn but as long as we learn how to learn. I worked full time after high school to save up for my mission.. And now I am leaving to Concepcion Chile in a few days.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member all my life, and I continued to be a member because I saw the protective powers being in the Lord's church. And felt the spirit of the Lord testifying that He has once again called a prophet just like in days past. The continue revelation from our Heavenly Father has deepened my understanding of the scriptures, and the wonders of God. I would not be the same person (in a bad way) if I was not a member of God's church, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost at a young age has helped me follow the Savior's footsteps.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by seeking service, opportunities to progress and filling my mind with words of wisdom from all the best books. I teach gospel principles as a lay teacher. I follow the Savior's call to bring His gospel to all the corners of the earth (Chile). There is people doing good all around, I saw this as I volunteered at the after school program at the homeless shelter.
