Hi I'm Nick

I've lived in Texas, Alaska, and Utah. I'm on a mission in Santa Rosa, California. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest in a family of three children. I play the bass guitar and the French horn. Before my mission, I was a college student, and I will be returning to school after my mission. I love punk rock and jazz music, and I love going to shows for local bands in my city. Before my mission, my band was 'And I, The Lion.' I love watching movies, my favorite movies are Star Wars movies. I also have a passion for reading, and my favorite authors are Ray Bradbury, Ernest Hemingway, and Albert Camus. I love hanging out with my friends. On the weekends we go to shows and afterward we go to a local diner with the best shakes and mozzarella sticks.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of the Church and was baptized when I was eight years old, however it wasn't until I was older that I developed a sure testimony. In high school, many people questioned why I was a Mormon, and I didn't have a sure answer, other than I had always been one. I began to study the Book of Mormon daily, and to pray to my Heavenly Father. Through this, I was blessed with a knowledge that this is truly Christ's church restored on Earth in these Latter Days. It has given me continual meaning and happiness in my life to follow God's plan. I know that when I falter, God still loves me and that I can get back onto the right path. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church, and through following the plan God has laid out, I can find eternal happiness.

How I live my faith

I am living my faith by preparing to serve a full time mission to the church. For two years, I will be living in Santa Rosa, California doing work for the Lord and his church.

Who is the Mormon prophet today?

Nick
Thomas S. Monson is the prophet of our church today. He receives revelation from God regarding our church today. Just as God gave revelation to prophets of old to guide and direct His church, He does so today. Show more Show less
