Hi I'm Harold

I'm an average guy committed to service and hard work, a student of psychology, philosophy, and the arts, I'm a Mormon

About Me

I've been a member since I was 8 years old. I come from a family that immigrated to the United States from Colombia looking for greater opportunities and I was young enough that learning English came easily to me. In time, my parents' sacrifices, their teachings, and my experience with language learning would lead me to places around the world and to meet people from all walks of life.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been learned through prayer and experience that the greatest truths are to be found here, those truths which will lead a man, his family and friends, to reach their greatest potential. One of those truths is that there are no ordinary people, that we all share a divine heritage. God is a father, our Father, and each son and daughter has the potential to be like Him, a Being who enjoys the greatest measure of freedom. I have been taught powerfully in my heart and mind that Jesus Christ is the Son of God prepared to bring all his children back to the presence of the Father, that He is the right way, that He is alive, and that He is working. The teachings that have enabled my growing knowledge of these things are found here.

How I live my faith

The gospel of Jesus Christ is about building up people, finding the positive side of any situation, and the power that love has in accomplishing that purpose. I live my faith as I observe people with ordinary lives, ordinary challenges, and do my best to help fill a need whenever I see one. I work to build relationships with those I love and try to see everyone for who they really are. I also try to remain aware of areas in my life and character that need improvement and make necessary changes but also to accept where I am currently at and to enjoy my own company.
