Hi I'm Brandon

I grew up in Utah, and I am about to go out and share the gospel as a full-time missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am known for my handshakes. I love to go around to my friends and shake their hands and put a smile on their faces. I am definitely a people person. I really enjoy making people happy and being a friend. I'm currently a student at a university, but I am postponing my education so I can serve a full-time mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know it is what is right. When I was growing up I always noticed that I felt something different, something good, when I would read my scriptures or when I would say my prayers. I really liked that feeling, so I kept doing it. I didn't know the Church was true until I was a little older and I had prayed every night for about a week to know whether or not it was true. Finally, I was sitting in church, pondering about the truthfulness and I received a confirmation that I wasn't expecting. It shocked me how plain and obvious it was. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church. I love the gospel. It makes so much sense that Heavenly Father loves us so much that He created a plan for us so that we might live with Him for eternity. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. It is another testament of the divinity of Jesus Christ. Heavenly Father loves you.

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily by doing the small things. I read my scriptures daily; I do my best to be the friend that the Lord would have me be; I serve Him with all my heart and might; and I enjoy every second of it.

What do Mormons believe about the Bible? Do they regard it as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

The Bible and the Book of Mormon and other books of scripture (i.e. Doctrine and Covenants and the Pearl of Great Price) are a collection of writings from prophets and apostles of God. Thus, we do regard the Bible as being the word of God. Show more Show less
