Hi I'm Kaylie O'Donnal

I love Theatre and Arabic, and I'm a Mormon. :)

About Me

I am currently a missionary serving in the Washington DC South Mission, commonly known as the Northern Virginia Mission. Before leaving on my mission, I was a student at Brigham Young University, studying theatre and Arabic. I spent four months abroad in the beautiful countryside of Jordan, and a few weeks in Israel. I can often be found directing shows with local theatre companies in my free time, and enjoying the comforts of living on a ranch, including horse back riding. I have an older sister who is married, and a younger brother and younger sister. Back home we have lots and lots of animals to look after, and we spend a lot of time together as a family. I love them with all my heart.

Why I am a Mormon

Though I was born into the church, I chose to be baptized on my own. I can't imagine believing that there is nothing after this life. It makes me feel sad knowing that that's exactly what so many people believe. I may have been born into a family that was already part of the church, but I've made my own choice to stay in the church because I know it's what's right. God has shown me time and time again through his endless mercy that he is there watching over me. I can't imagine a life without him in it.

How I live my faith

Right now I'm serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This means that all my time is being dedicated to serving the Lord and bringing people into the church. It's hard work, but I absolutely love every minute of it. Daily scripture study, prayer, regular church attendance, constant repentance, and always striving to be better are some of the few things that I do to live my faith. These are the things that really help me to build my testimony and continue to improve and become the servant my Father in Heaven wants me to be.

How do I become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church)?

Kaylie O'Donnal
If you have the desire to join the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, there are some fantastic people who can help you. We call them missionaries. They teach people all the basic principles and ordinances of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and help you to prepare for baptism and membership in the Church. When you are ready, you can get baptized, and then confirmed with the authority of God, or the Priesthood, and given the Gift of the Holy Ghost. Show more Show less
