Hi I'm Rachel

I'm in college. I play the pennywhistle. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student at Brigham Young University in Idaho where my husband and I are getting our degrees. I am an art major, and I like to do all sorts of projects. Painting and sewing are my main hobbies, but I also like being outdoors and seeing beautiful places. A few years ago I made a goal to make one new dessert every week, and that was really fun, I love making pies! I was also involved in sports and pep band all through high school, and, I love popsicles... :)

Why I am a Mormon

When I was five years old, I was adopted into a great family. A while later we went to the temple and it became official that we would be together forever, even after this life. The experience gave me a unique perspective on the importance of families. I got married there recently, and had a similar experience. Love, between a family, and between a man and woman, shouldn't have to end at death. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, it doesn't have to.

How I live my faith

My husband and I help out with the cub scouts in our area every week, and even though it isn't a specific church calling, we're usually helping out with the kids in church on Sundays as well. Sometimes when we're not sure what else to do on Sunday afternoons, we'll try and ding dong ditch people which is super fun.
