Hi I'm Karla

I grew up in Utah. I am a want-to-be chef, I love the outdoors, and I am a future missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I very much enjoy being in the outdoors. I love hiking, running, swimming, and watching the stars. There is nothing like running in the early morning while the sun is rising. I also enjoy creating delicious foods and desserts for family and friends to eat. Don't worry I very much enjoy eating my creations as well. In my spare time I like to spend some quality time with Linus, my cello.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because it makes me a better person. Each day is filled with so many choices, each of which will either bring us closer to or farther from Jesus Christ. Each day I choose to be a member of this church because I believe it is true. I believe Jesus Christ is my Savior and this is His church on the earth today.

How I live my faith

I enjoy being a leader in the Church's youth program. Here,I am able to plan activites that help strengthen our youth's desire to find their own testimonies of the gospel. I love creating activities that help my young women realize how wonderful and special they are to me, as well as to God. I love participation in service projects of various kinds that help me understand what is most important. I plan to help other men and women understand these same things as I serve a mission.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Karla
Missionaries proselyte to share that Jesus Christ is our Savior and that God has a plan set out for our happiness. Living the standards that Jesus has set forth brings an immesurable amount of joy to my life and I want everyone who is interested to learn and feel the same way. Show more Show less
