Hi I'm Jaren

I'm a people-loving, fun-having, hope-filled, young American. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Growing up I loved doing anything outside but I fell in love with playing, watching and breathing soccer. I also enjoy learning new instruments but my main instruments are the bassoon and saxophone. I'm a college junior studying Statistics in hopes to one day become an actuary. My favorite pass time however is making new friend and doing things to help make someone else's day.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it gives me hope and light in my life. Hope for a better future, and light that makes each day brighter no matter what I am going through. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints holds answers to questions and it teaches the teachings of our Savior Jesus Christ. I know that God lives and that he knows each one of us. He has a plan for us although we may not always see it. He has answered my prayers in my times of need and he will answer yours too if you seek him. Turn to him, he has open and outstretched arms waiting for you to return to him. Latter day prophets guide this church and receive counsel for the church like the ancient day prophets in the time of Christ. This church has the same organization, ordinances, and priesthood authority that Christ established on this Earth. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true.

How I live my faith

I have recently been on a committee for planning activities and I was also a teacher for gospel lessons in the church. However right now I am serving a full-time mission for 2 years in Sweden my favorite thing is sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with other people and their families. I'm very excited to be serving and I hope to come closer to Christ by ministering like he did.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Jaren
When missionaries visit with you or your family they will teach you the same gospel which Christ taught over 2000 years ago. They will not only teach you true principles but will also help you take steps to start applying the principles in your own life. A missionary's main purpose is help you to come closer to the Savior Jesus Christ and help you to strengthen your faith in him. Show more Show less
