Hi I'm TRL

I've been the victim of violent crimes. I now defend people accused of committing violent crimes. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband, a father to two beautiful children, and a BYU alum. I served a mission in central America where those with whom I worked and I suffered persecutions and loved those who persecuted us. I am now an attorney who defends those accused of crimes.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon just feels right, for me. It helps me make sense of the world. All of the teachings in Mormon theology are, to me, rational and reasonable and offer the answers to every answerable question. I cannot see myself holding to any other belief system, for I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to be Jesus' own church, restored on earth.

How I live my faith

Jesus Christ goes by many names and titles. Of all of them, my favorite is the Advocate. When I think of Jesus Christ, I think of forgiveness and mercy. I value those two qualities perhaps more than any others, and I depend on them more than any others. My profession is dedicated to seeking forgiveness and mercy on behalf of others. I strive to offer the same to everyone around me.
