Hi I'm Kyle Gardiner

I grew up in the south. I love playing music and sports. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I have gone one semester of BYUI so far and now plans are to go on a mission in Fresno California. During highschool I played varsity tennis four years straight and I was co-captain senior year. I enjoy music so I taught myself how to play guitar and piano. My favorite car in the world is my grandpas 22 year old Chevy truck.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe in the Book of Mormon which is another testament of Jesus Christ. We have this today because of our first modern day prophet Joseph Smith. With this we have the full restoration of the Gospel. I know all of this to be true because I was converted to the teachings while I was at a church activity called trek. Although I grew up in the church I didn't gain a testimony until I was about to turn 15. Trek is something the church does every 4 years and it entails a very long enduring hike with a family that is made with other youth of the church and volunteers from parents of the church to be our "Ma and Pa". Near the end everyone received a letter from their real parents saying anything they wanted to say about their kids. My mother wrote me the most sincere loving testimony that just broke me down to tears. As I was reading her testimony of the Gospel I had the Holy Ghost bare witness that what I was reading was true. From that day I have been a devoted member of the Church of Jessus Christ of Latter Day Saints

How I live my faith

Out in college at BYUI I had the opportunity to take a mission prep class and what we would do is go to random peoples apartments and give the lessons in Preach my Gospel. During high school I attended early morning seminary where I had to wake up at 6:00 every week day that we had school and learn about the book of mormon and the bible for four years.
