Hi I'm Travis

I grew up in Orange County. I served a 2-year mission in France. I am personally converted to Jesus Christ. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love to sing, dance, and communicate with others, in English or in French. I am a computer science major, but I don't let that keep me from getting outside and loving the world around me, and the people that are within it. I enjoy skiing in the snow, wake boarding on lakes, and traveling the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe in the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ, because I know that our Heavenly Father is a God of love. I know he desires that we know the truth of how to return to him, and so he has restored the Church of Jesus Christ in these latter days, so we might have the opportunity to learn, progress, and come closer to him. I love this Gospel because it teaches us in every way how to become more like him, and develop his attributes and character traits. I love this Gospel because it teaches that the only way to do this is through Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and the true leader of this Church. I feel loved as a member of this Church, and I am moved to love others as a part of it. I know that the Book of Mormon, another testament of Jesus Christ, contains the fulness of His gospel, and along with the Holy Bible, clears the way through the clouds of uncertainty in the world around us. I know that President Thomas S. Monson is a prophet of God, having received His authority. I know that his words, and the words of the leaders of this church are those that God, our loving Heaven Father, wants us to hear. Through this Gospel, we don't have to be confused or misguided by the world, but we can rather find our way through towards happiness, and be a beacon to others so they can find joy as well.

How I live my faith

I participate in a group of men in my local church group, who strives to serve other members of our church group. I am responsible for making sure we all complete our responsibility, in visiting every member, assuring nobody gets left behind. Beyond that, as members of the Church, and as a people invested in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we seek to serve anyone we may come into contact with. I have felt no greater joy than in serving those around me, lifting them up and inviting them to come unto Christ, the true healer of all shortcomings, weaknesses, trials, and hardships.
