Hi I'm Cami

I love palm trees, sand and coconuts! I'm addicted to dystopian novels. I love musicals and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a college student. I am majoring in History teaching. I love to read and spend time with friends. I have a large family with seven children. I am the middle child. My favorite movie is Princess Bride. Even though I am in college, I love to watch Saturday morning cartoons. I have an addiction to ice cream and chocolate.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because Families are Forever. Being a child raised in foster care the concept of permanent families was not familiar to me. After I met my family, they had the LDS missionaries come and teach me about families. I love that I can be with my family forever. I love my family and can't wait to spend eternity with them.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a mission in Hawai'i. I spend everyday all day sharing messages about Christ. I show my faith by giving all my heart to what I do. When I talk about Christ, I know people listen because I care about Him with my whole heart. My goal is to bring others closer to Him. I know that by doing this I am able to share my heart with them because He is my heart.

What is the Relief Society?

Cami
The Relief Society is an amazing group of women. It is a group of women 18 and older that meet together to strengthen others. It is full of service for women and families in need. Service projects are abundant. Crafts are beautiful and welcome beauty and Christ into the home. The food is amazing. The women of the organization care about everyone and are there to help anyone in need. They are the most loving people you will ever meet. Show more Show less

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Cami
A testimony is a simple truth that you know about Jesus Christ and His gospel. This truth is revealed to each of us personally through the Holy Ghost. When we gain that knowledge from our Heavenly Father through the Holy Ghost, that is a testimony. Show more Show less
