Hi I'm Daniel

I grew up in Utah. I love eating, being outdoors, and being with my friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints my entire life. I love being a member, and I love the relationship that it has helped me to have with my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I am currently attending BYU, studying Statistics. My life dream is to be the next Dan Patrick, sharing my infinite wealth of sports knowledge with the world. I am the 5th of 6 kids, and I love to be with my family. They are everything to me. I served an LDS mission to Madrid, Spain for two years, and during that time I was able to teach my friends there that they can be with their families forever. What a wonderful blessing it was for me.

Why I am a Mormon

After being a member my whole life, I needed to know for myself if the church was true or not. So, I prayed to God and asked Him. It truly is as simple as that. The Prophet that restored the church, Joseph Smith, is a great example of that. He prayed to God to know which of all of the churches that existed in his time, in 1820, was the true church. God and Jesus Christ appeared to him and told him that none of the churches were true, but that They would restore the true church through him. I asked God if that was true. He didn't appear to me, He didn't speak to me, but in the perfect way for me, He let me know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was His church. It wasn't through anything huge, but something small. I just had a feeling that I already knew that it was true, and that I had to follow Jesus Christ. As I have done so, I have truly come to know and love the phrase "by their fruits ye shall know them". The fruits of this church are many, and they are incredible.

How I live my faith

During my mission, I dedicated my life to sharing the wonderful gospel message. I served people in their homes, doing yard work, walking their dogs, and washing dishes. It was the best two years of my life! Now that I am home, I am living my faith by attending church weekly, reading in the scriptures, and praying daily. I also strive to live the gospel standards so that I can be an example to my family members.
