Hi I'm Kirstin

I grew up in Utah. I am a college student. I love my family. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm Kirstin and some things I like to do are read, write, sing, take photos, learn, and play sports. I like playing sports with friends like volleyball, soccer, tennis, and some other sports/games here and there. As well as taking adventure outdoors. I love to travel and I would love to see all parts of the world some day. I also love giving service, it just makes me happy to know that I can help make someone else's life easier. I love to write poetry and I have been published in a few collective poetry books in the past few years and I am hoping to be able to write some books and have them published sometime in the future as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because there is nothing that makes me happier than being a part of the wonderful gospel! It has blessed my life in so many ways and continues to do so as long as I live faithfully. I can't see myself not being Mormon, being a part of this gospel makes me happy, and I would never want to leave this great kind of happiness! There is so much love and support in the church that you don't find just everywhere. That love comes through Christ and members of the church know that love that He gives us so you will always feel Christ's loving embrace when you come to church. I know that Christ lives and loves every one of us, the Book of Mormon is true and was restored by a prophet called of God and that through this gospel we can be saved in the last days and return home to Christ and our Father. The Book of Mormon was restored by the prophet Joseph Smith and it has absolutely changed my life and brought me closer to Christ through reading it and learning more about the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving an LDS Mission in California. Before this mission, I have loved to go to church and be a part of the young woman's organization we have, it has been great to be able to do things through this organization, like service projects and learning skills that will help me throughout my life while also building my testimony of my Savior and His glorious gospel that He has given to each of us! I know that Christ has atoned for my sins and that I can be made clean and move forward from past mistakes. I show my life by doing all I can to be obedient to what the Lord has told us to do. I love to read my scriptures to learn more, and I know that as I do I come closer to my Heavenly Father and learn more about His will for me. I try to live as faithful as I can so that my Heavenly Father will be pleased with what I have done.
