Hi I'm Alicia Henry

I spent most of my childhood in Utah, but I've lived in many different places across the U.S. and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I'm currently attending college. I'm working towards a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and am hoping to get into the physical therapy department at the University of Utah after I come back from my mission. I love to read and I love the outdoors. Hiking is a favorite hobby although I don't do it as much as I'd like to and I also love racquetball. I love music, I'm learning how to play the guitar and I can play the ukulele as well as the violin.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a mormon all my life. I grew up in the church and I have been blessed to have amazing parents and leaders that have all helped me gain a testimony of our Savior Jesus Christ. All through my teenage years I have learned about the gospel and the influence it has had on my life and I am so grateful for it. Especially as I have started preparing for my mission I have realized all of the blessings I have received because I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The things I have learned about the gospel while studying on my own has been monumental to building my own testimony of the church. It has made a difference in my life and I am happier and more confident about my abilities both as a missionary and as a young adult.

How I live my faith

I don't have a calling, but I am preparing to go on a mission to Fortaleza, Brazil. I try to participate in service projects around me as much as possible and I try to go to the temple as often as I can.
