Hi I'm Daniel

I'm a Californian. I love hats, taco trucks, traveling, painting, R&B, and big cities. I am a Mormon

About Me

I believe that the West Coast is the best coast... I am a CALIFORNIA Native all the way! I have a big crazy family. I am Mexican-Guatemalan-American -- That's right! I speak really good Spanglish!! I live for good times, laughing, bachata, & big city adventures. I strongly believe that hot sauce makes everything taste better. I study at California State University, Dominguez Hills in Carson, California. I joined Sigma Lambda Beta, I am Latino, and I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

Through the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I know that families are and can be together forever. The youngest of my 5 older sisters passed away 2 years before I was born, I never got to meet her but I feel somehow spiritually connected with her. The teachings we receive at church are what confirms to me that I will see her one day again, and my whole family will live together... Forever. I strayed off the path for a bit to try to find my own, but I soon recognized that the Church is the only way that I can know my purpose in life, and I really feel like everyday the Gospel fills my life with what I need. I can't really explain it, its just that good.

How I live my faith

Faith is a little word with a big meaning. I believe that when we have faith we are led to action. Aside from church and scripture reading, I got this thing going where I try to pray everytime I am at a red light. Or everytime I am frustrated. Prayer really helps me focus on my Heavenly Father and what He wants ME to do and how to be. I believe that singing church song helps me get through my toughest times. Peace can be so hard to find nowadays, but I know it is not impossible if we put our "2 cents" into our relationship with God.
