Hi I'm Karissa

I've grown up in Salt Lake. Currently attending UVU. I'm preparing to serve the Lord in the France Lyon Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My favorite things to do are go to the book store and read a book, and to write novels and movies. I have current aspirations to be a film screenwriter. I am in love with New York City and Broadway, and I spend a good amount of time singing along to Broadway musicals. I am currently serving the Lord for 18 months of my life in the France Lyon Mission!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because if I wasn't I wouldn't know who I would even be. I was born into the church, so I have never known anything in my life but living the Gospel, although many of my siblings and even my father have lost the Gospel from their sight. I have never questioned the truthfulness of this Gospel, and although I make steps everyday in increasing my testimony, it has always been a part of my life. This Gospel brings me happiness, and that is why I know it is the true church. Something that brings me so much happiness is not wrong. I can feel it inside me, I can feel the difference between wordily happiness and true happiness. Being a part of His church to me means that I am living to be my very best self. All this church asks of us is to be the very best people that we can possibly be in every way. To be the best citizens of our country, to be honest to our fellowmen, to keep our bodies healthy, to love others as Christ loves us, every single thing we are asked to be and to do is only to help us become the best people we can possibly be and live up to our potential. That is why I have never even considered not being a member of the His church. Because no matter what, this church teaches me to be the best person that I could possibly be in this life, and to make something out of my life and to have something to live for. I live for Him.

How I live my faith

I love my faith by being a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am serving the Lord full time and devoting all of my time to Him. I am serving the people of France with all my heart, might, mind, and faith. This Gospel is where absolute true happiness comes from and I couldn't be more happy to detove every ounce of me to teaching others of this happiness.
