Hi I'm Felicia Douros

I am serving in the Washington Tacoma Mission.

About Me

I am from Utah. I am serving in the Washington Tacoma Mission. I have six brothers and one sister. I have 5 nephews and 3 nieces. I love them to pieces.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. I was baptized when I was eight. I don't remember alot about that day that I made those promises but I remember three things. 1. My mother bought me a beautiful pink dress. I thought I was a princess. (In my father's eyes I was.) 2. I got to play with my cousins and eat some delicious food. 3. Is the most important one of all. I remember walking down the stairs to the font and my father was walking down on the other side. I remember he took me and said the prayer. I went down in the water and when I came up I felt something. I didn't know everything about the church but I knew that what I did was right and I felt the spirit so strongly. Because of that special day nearly 13 years ago it has lead me to true happiness. I am a Mormon because I believe our Savior, Jesus Christ, has atoned, died, for yours and mine sins and sorrows. Because of Him we can return to live with God and Him again someday. His death gave us a purpose and his resurrection gave us worth. Pray to God to know for youself if he is really there. I can promise you ,as a disciple of Jesus Christ, that he will answer you on his own time. I have done this and it has brought me peace and hope.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in a lot of ways. I read from the Book of Mormon everyday so I can come closer to God and Jesus Christ. I pray to God so I can gain a better relationship with Him. But the best way to live your faith, in my opinion is showing it by example.
