Hi I'm Allison Hendrix

I'm a gymnast. I'm studying English to be an editor, but that's on hold while I'm a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love silly little talents. I can juggle. I can solve a Rubix cube. I can even recite the first 100 digits of pi. I love the diversity of trying new things. I started gymnastics when I was 3, but switched to tumbling, then tried cheer, before finding a love for dancing. I started with swing, then moved on to ballroom and Latin then to hip hop and street dancing where I picked up gymnastics again, coupled with parkour and free running. I love thinking. I love discussing ideas. I'm pretty nerdy in lots of ways. I'm very logical and I love facts, so I first majored in Statistics. Eventually I decided to follow my dream and switched to English with the goal of becoming an editor and book publisher. I absolutely love school. It's all reading and writing now, and I'm doing what I love. I love where I'm at in my life, but I'm taking 18 months off currently to serve a mission I have an incredibly supportive family. I'm the second of six kids. My three brothers and two sisters are all my best friends in the whole world. I miss them a great deal, but I'm also proud to be setting a good example for them. They're much of my motivation to be the best missionary I can be.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon, because I know it's true!

How I live my faith

Right now, I'm serving as a full time Mormon missionary, which means that I'm serving, helping, and teaching people about Jesus Christ almost 24/7. We get one preparation day where we can do chores, shop, and prepare for the week. The knowledge that I'm representing Christ is always foremost in my mind.
