Hi I'm Cassandra

I'm a Texan. I am a BYU student. I hope to be a Nurse one day. I am preparing to serve a mission in Italy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Ever since I was a little girl, I have LOVED taking care of people. I wanted to be a nurse when I was really little and then wanted to be some other things growing up, and now I am back to wanting to be a nurse. I grew up in Texas, and yes, I do have Texas pride. I love the Rangers, the Cowboys, and the Mavs. I love anything that has to do with the south. I love cowboy boots, horses, country dancing, and southern gentlemen. I have always been athletic and have danced for most of my life. I was in the Clinical Rotation program at my high school and earned my CNA. This certification allowed me to get a job in health care once I graduated High School and went to college. I have worked as a CNA for about a year now. I attend BYU. I still LOVE taking care of people and I will be serving a mission in Italy, starting this summer.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I need Jesus Christ in my life. I need his guidance in my life and I need His atonement so that I may be forgiven and that I also may have strength and courage to do hard things. The gospel of Jesus Christ helps me to be not only a better person, but be the VERY best person I could be. If I was not a member of this faith, I would not be the same person. I know that I have a Heavenly Father who knows me personally. He knows my thoughts and my feelings. He loves me for who I am and only wants me to follow His son, Jesus Christ and be happy. Through the gospel of Jesus Christ I am happy and have a bright countinence, even when hard times or trouble comes my way. Through the gospel of Jesus Christ I can live with my family after this life, for all eternity. Heavenly Father has provided us with so many tools in this life that I feel so blessed to have. He has blessed us with living Prophets who receive revelation from God and counsel us on the dangers that lie ahead that maybe we cannot see so clearly. Thomas S. Monson is a man of God and has the priesthood keys to receive revelation for the whole world. I have Faith in God and know that I can pray to Him and He will and has answered my prayers. I am so grateful for the Book of Mormon and the strength it brings to my life. It brings the spirit into my life and puts me into a state of being where I can be molded and made firm. I know that these things are true. I choose to be a member of this church and I love every part of it. I love Heavenly Father and my Savior Jesus Christ. I am so blessed to have a knowledge of this gospel. It brings a Happiness into my life that is indescribable. I would not be able to find this happiness anywhere else besides the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being a good listener when assisting the residents I work with. I care about their needs and am more than just their CNA. I am their servant. I am a steward of wonderful gifts and talents that God has given me and I use them to the best of my ability to serve others. I live my faith in service to all those I come in contact with. I live my faith by being a missionary at all times to both members, less active members, and non members. I live my faith by allowing God to use me as his instrument. I listen to the promptings of the Holy Ghost and recognize them as gifts from God that show me the way. I live my faith by recognizing God's hand in the very fine details of my life and knowing that everything comes from Him.
