Hi I'm John M. Knab

I grew up in New Jersey. I'm a Mormon. Not too many of us while I was growing up but now it has grown in popularity.

About Me

I had the opportunity to attend college and then obtain an MBA. My career consisted of working with IBM; Verizon; my own high-tech firm known as Phonex; and now a Fund Manager for Americas Housing Alliance. I have lived in New Jersey; Pennsylvannia; Georgia; Australia; Phoenix; Utah and Arizona. As a Mormon, it helped to have a value system centered on Jesus Christ and being a good family man that lived a clean life. There are many temptations out there and being a Mormon helped me navigate through such icebergs of life.

Why I am a Mormon

There are not too many things that I know. I'm grateful to to know that I have a Father-In-Heaven; and an elder brother, Jesus Christ, that is the Savior of this world and that there is the Holy Ghost to bring comfort and guidance to me as long as I am worthy to receive such. I know that God has restored His Church to this earth in relatively modern times back in 1830. God has always had prophets and our day is no different. Most people through the history of the world did not believe in the prophets of their day. It seems no different in modern times. I know we have a prophet on this earth today and he receives direction from the heavens for all people of the world that will listen and obey. Being Mormon has blessed the life of my family and me beyond description or words. I know these things.

How I live my faith

I donate time to serve others because that is the Christlike thing to do and I find great joy in serving others. It is not a burden to make someone else happy. I'm surprised to find that there are people that don't spend anytime serving others. I think the main reason is that they don't have a path to do so. The United States has many citizen that volunteer time and that is a noble thing. It is even more noble to do so in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior.
