Hi I'm Will

I was born and raised in Utah. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I graduated high school in 2012 and attended a semester of college. I had plans to attend another semester as well but it turned out the Lord had something else in mind and im going on my mission now thanks to the age requirement being lowered. I love cars and I plan on becoming a mechanic for my career when I return from my mission. I enjoy mountain biking and computer games as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I was born into a mormon family. I just followed the example others set for me but I started struggling with it but I kept my faith and was able to eventually develop a testimony of my own to guide myself. Im not a convert to the church, but I feel like many of the people who were born inside the church, while technically always a member, had a time in their lives when they truly became converted.

How I live my faith

I was very active in the church when I was 12 years old and in Deacon's Quorum I was even the president there and I was the first assistant in the Teachers and Priests quorum as well. From the outside appearance, I probably look like the average Mormon kid, but I never really had the strongest testimony until recently. I had some vices that I fought repeatedly with throughout my teenage years but the age change for my mission was what I needed to motivate me and get me back onto the path that everyone thought I was already on. I am very grateful for that "kick in the pants."

What is faith?

Faith is the method by which we are tested. The point of us coming here to this earth was to prove to Heavenly Father that we will obey his commandments and return to him. If He were to give us all the answers, there would be no point to this life. We need to excersize faith and make the first step towards him before he will testify to us that we are on the right path. Like a mustard seed, a little bit of faith will grow into something much larger, but a little bit is all it takes to start. Excersize faith in him and learn of the truth. Show more Show less
