Hi I'm Olivia Rapata

I grew up in New Zealand. Currently studying Maths and Physics at university. I'm a Mormon

About Me

Kia ora my name is Olivia! I'm from Auckland, New Zealand. I am a student studying law and science. I also work part time at the local television station. I got back last year from serving a full-time proselyting mission in Sao Paulo Brazil Interlagos mission. Until now that has been the most spiritual and fulfilling experience of my life. I love the gospel and everyday I am grateful to have it in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

Both my parents are Mormons and I was born into this religion. My own conversion came through seeking the truth and to know my Father and his Son, Jesus Christ. It has come bit by bit, though prayer and reading the scriptures. The time I spent serving the Lord as a missionary gave me great experiences and strengthened immensely my testimony on the truthfulness of the restored gospel. I am a Mormon because I love my Saviour, I know that this is his Gospel and the only way my family and I can return to be with him forever.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by each day trying to do a bit better. I am not perfect and I have a lot of friends that live the gospel better than me. But their example and that of the Saviours helps me learn. Each day I improve my life gets better and my testimony grows so I know it is true. In church I teach a course to the youth on Mission preparation and I am also a leader of one of the young single adult groups at our local church.
