Hi I'm Colton

I'm a born and raised Utahn. I love music and agriculture. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest child in my family. I have a nine year old brother and a thirteen year old sister. My dad is an Agronomy Salesman and my mom's job is to take care of all of us. I have always had an interest in music. I love to sing and have enjoyed being part of many choirs and doing solo performances on the side. I enjoy working with my hands and solving problems by understnading how things function, such as cars or other mechanical things. I have always been very interested in Agriculture and love to work with animals and plants on a daily basis.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. This means that when I was born, both of my parents were active members of the church. This is a great blessing and reason why I started to go to church at a very young age. Throughout my life I have participated in the ordinances of baptism and going through the temple. This is a very special and sacred opportunity that members must qualify for by living worthily and following standards set by the church that, we as members, choose freely to follow because of the blessings that we'll recieve. Personally, because of the love I have for my Heavenly Father and our Elder Brother, Jesus Christ, I strive to live the teachings of the gospel because I know that my life is better when I am in line with the commandments we've all been given and when I follow the covenants I have made.

How I live my faith

I'm currently preparing to serve in the Jamaica Kingston Mission. I'm so excited to teach people who are not familiar with our faith, about Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father, and the love they have for each and every one of us here on earth. I attend church services weekly along with occational activities and meetings that involve the groups I am enrolled in with the church. Monthly, I go around and visit members I am assigned to see and make sure that themselves or their family is doing ok and to see if the church can do anything for them.
