Hi I'm Christine

I'm a missionary for the LDS Church in Scotland and Ireland, I am an aspiring math teacher, and I am a Mormon!

About Me

My name is Christine Watt, I am currently serving in the Scotland/Ireland mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Here is a little bit about my past, I was born of goodly parents in Colorado, and have lived there all my life up until this point. I am the youngest of 6 children, and I absolutely love my family. Some hobbies are volleyball and photography. I have played volleyball virtually all my life, I am always up for some good competitive volleyball! Photography has become my creative outlet, and I love capturing a moment and making it last forever. I am in school to be a math teacher. I haven't always loved math, but as a teacher worked and helped me, I grew to love it. Because of that I wish to pass that along and prove that anyone can love math, it only takes the right teacher! Now I have deferred from Brigham Young University to serve my Lord as a missionary for this wonderful church! I love being a missionary, its the best decision I have ever made!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in this church and it has been a slow progression to my true conversion. As I have grown up I have gained faith and then knowledge that God exist, through trials and tribulations I have learned that He loves me, and that I can repent of my sins through the atonement of Jesus Christ. As I have prayed I have experienced the joy that comes from answered prayers and knowing that God is listening, and I have received conformation that Joseph Smith truly did see Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father, and he truly was a prophet of God, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is truly the restored gospel and is the true church. One of the best truths, is that through the correct authority and ordinances I can be sealed to my family for eternity. I love my family and the idea that I have the opportunity, as long as I live righteously, to be connected to them even after this life keeps me going. I would do anything to return to my Heavenly Father, and to see my family experience that same blessing. This is my testimony, it is not perfect but it is growing with each day I live!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving the Lord every day. I wake up at 6:30 in the morning in order to get out and talk to the Scottish and Irish people and invite them to come to Christ. I strive every day to share the happiness that I receive by being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I want to spread the word that we can experience true happiness when we are washed clean of our sins through the atonement and by baptism with the right authority. I live my faith by loving the people around me. I hope to be a loyal servant to my Heavenly Father and help people in need and hopefully Heavenly Father can use me to be a blessing in someones lives. I live my faith by being a full time missionary.
