Hi I'm Britney

I grew up in a small town in southeast Idaho. I love music, laughing, and learning, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've always enjoyed school and the pursuit of knowledge. I'm fascinated by the biology and physiology of the human body, and plan to go to medical school after I complete my undergraduate degree in Physiology and Developmental Biology at Brigham Young University. I hope to progress to become an orthopedic surgeon. I spent a great deal of time hunting and fishing with my dad growing up, so I thoroughly enjoy working and playing outside. I also love singing, playing the piano, and laughing with friends and family members.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I sincerely believe this church is the true church, and that this Gospel is the true Gospel. I know that the principals we live as members of the LDS church give our lives guidance and direction, and ultimately mold us into honest, hardworking, helpful, kind, and overall good people. I'm extremely grateful for the influence this church has had upon me and my life, and I know that it will give me the knowledge and experiences I need to be able to return to my Father in Heaven when my earthly life is over.

How I live my faith

As I was growing up in Idaho, I was very involved in my ward. I served as leaders for many of the groups I was involved in, and spent many hours helping to plan and coordinate activities with the youth of my ward, as well as other wards. It was very fulfilling and I loved it. The biggest thing I'm doing to "live my faith" now is preparing to serve a mission. I've been reading the Book of Mormon a lot more than I normally do, and I've spent a lot of time reading other materials that have been provided to me to help me prepare to share the Gospel. Preparing for my mission is definitely helping me boost my testimony and re-affirm the faith I have in my Heavenly Father and in his son, Jesus Christ, as well as the faith I have in the LDS church.
