Hi I'm Josh

I Snow Ski in Utah. I served a mission in the FL Panhandle area. And I'm a Mormon

About Me

Currently I attend Brigham Young University. I played the piano, clarinet and saxophone for numerous groups. I ran on the high school track team, and now every morning, run to stay in shape.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the Book of Mormon. It testifies of Jesus Christ. This book has given me many insights about Christ. When I finished reading this book for the first time, I prayed asking God of it's truthfulness. Immediately I felt a strong conformation from a warmth throughout my body. This was such an amazing experience, I have decided to serve a mission to teach others about this great book. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the restored church of Jesus Christ. In Luke 6:13, Christ set up his church with twelve apostles. In our time he has restored his church again with a Prophet and twelve apostles.

How I live my faith

For the past stretch of my life I have had the opportunity to serve others in my ward as a home teacher. By visiting and teaching my assigned home teaching families, I have learned to serve others. One special experience came from an elderly couple that I was assigned to visit. The man suffered from Alzheimer disease and is confined to a wheelchair. Often the wife calls me to help lift him from his wheel chair, into another more comfortable chair. Whenever I go to help, his wife will tell me of a miracle that occurred that day. She has taught me to seek after these common miracles of God. Another way that I try to live my faith, comes from everyday service, such as opening the door, shoveling snow off of driveways and doing yard work.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Josh
Missionaries will share how to enhance our relationship with God and invite to do things that will achieve that purpose. Show more Show less
