Hi I'm Elder Hoecherl

I grew up in Japan, came to the states, then got into visual arts in high school. Now I'm a missionary!

About Me

I love art, longboarding, biking, and I also do a little gaming here and there. I'm going to be going on a mission soon, so college will have to wait for a while, but when I'm back I'd like to see how computer engineering's like: I like tinkering with computers and other electronics. Right now, all I want to do is spread what I know to be true to everyone else who is ready for it.

Why I am a Mormon

At first I only went to church because my parents said it's the right thing to do; I was living off of their testimonies. I believed in God and His teachings, I just didn't know for sure, neither did I really question it because it had become a part of my life ever since I was born. One day, when I was 14, it clicked. The church is the whole truth about everything. I read the scriptures, learned more, and gained a strong testimony supported by many experiences that could not have possibly happened if any of the LDS church was not true.

How I live my faith

I used to be a leader among the youth, but now it's even better: I'm a missionary, spreading what I know to be the truth.
