Hi I'm Nathan

I grew up in Missouri. I'm a high school graduate. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to exercise and stay fit, one reason being that I hope to make a career for myself with the FBI. I can't wait to leave for my mission, which is only a few months away. I like reading fantasy and fiction books that have a good adventure. I love learning new things. I like to work hard and serve others.

Why I am a Mormon

I've grown up my whole life going to the LDS Church. I've been taught my whole life the doctrines and principles of the LDS Church's "gospel". However, there came a time in my life where I had to really decide if this was the church I wanted to be a part of, if I actually believed everything I've been taught was true or not. I've made some choices in my life I'm not happy I made, and during those times I was sad and confused and angry. However, when I lived according to the gospel and obeyed His commandments I was really happy. I had hope and joy in my life. That was one of the major impacts that led me to absolutely believe in what I've been taught, because if doing something brings true happiness into your life, how could it be wrong? This did not happen all at once, but over several years. Now, in my life, I've internalized the gospel and I live it as best I can each day. My knowledge I've gained for myself of the truthfulness of the gospel is very precious to me.

How I live my faith

In my ward we sometimes plan to help with community service projects, and I always like to help at these. I am also a home teacher, and I try to go visit my assigned families my companion and I are responsible for. I live the gospel standards in my every day choices.
