Hi I'm Teasha

I am serving in the Knoxville Tenessee Mission. I love sharing the gospel. I sing and play the piano. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love sports, especially rugby and softball. I also play piano and sing. I am an Accounting Major. I enjoy reading in my spare time. I grew up in a town in a small rural town and I absolutely loved it. I like going camping and hunting with my family. I love my family and enjoy spending time with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. When I was thirteen years old, I decided I needed to find out for myself if the Book of Mormon was true. So I began reading it from cover to cover. It took me a long time since I was so young to get through it, but by the end I KNEW with all my heart that it was the word of God. The Holy Ghost made this clear to me and continues to do so everytime I read it. As I read the Book of Mormon and follow the teachings of the prophets, my testimony is strengthened as well as my resolve to continue to obey. Through obedients to the commandments I have found true happiness and peace in my life. This happiness and peace that I have found in the gospel of Jesus Christ I wish to share with others. I know that God is real. I know Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I know that they both love me and want me to be happy. I know that Christ suffered for my sins as well as my shortcomings and pains. I know that because of this He can help me through any trial or hardship that I will face in this life. I know that God directed Joseph Smith to restore His church once again upon the earth. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that he restore the priesthood (the authority to act in God's name). I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon by the gift and power of God. I know that President Monson is a prophet of God. That he receives revealation for the church. I know that through temple ordiances, that families can be together forever.

How I live my faith

I love sharing the gospel. The gospel makes me so happy. When I teach people I am just inviting them to be baptized, but to come closer to Christ and to be happy. I love being a missionary.
