Hi I'm Zander Smith

I'm a missionary. I'm a pilot. I'm a rugby player. I like ugly sweaters. I am all that is man. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in the wonderful state of Montana. Growing up there was an awesome experience, fraught with adventure, danger, mischief, etc. I love the raw wilderness that I got to experience as a youth! I love swimming, and playing rugby, and have state champion titles in both. I got my private pilots license when I was 18 years old, and I love flying! I went to a semester at Utah State University, and am now currently serving in the Georgia, Atlanta North mission. I love everyday in the mission field, and wouldn't trade my experiences here for anything.

Why I am a Mormon

I really committed to this church, and Christ's gospel when I was 17. Even though I had been a member my entire life, I was not truly and personally converted until my junior year in High School. When I felt like my life was falling out of place, God was just making room for things to fall into place for me. I love the restored gospel. And I love the peace, hope, and love that it brings to my life every single day. Without fail.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying my best to practice what Jesus Christ taught. In every facet of my life I try and set a good example. As a missionary, setting that example is phenomenally important, and I love the pressure that it puts on me.
