Hi I'm Christian

I am an endurance athlete, a friend, a missionary, and most of all I am a Mormon.

About Me

I'm an Ultra-Marathoner, A C.N.A., A Friend, A Brother, A College Student, A Returned Missionary, A Temple Ordinance Worker, An Executive Secretary, I suffer from Clinical Depression, I'm Gay, and I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I know because I have learned as Isaiah taught in Isaiah 28:9-10, being fed milk before meat, learning the same things over and over again, finding new meaning, reaching deeper, being more in tune with the Lord. First for me was a Witness of the Holy Ghost, next our Father, then Jesus Christ, the Prophet Joseph Smith, the Holy Bible, the Book of Mormon, and so on and so forth, taking years each principle, learning and growing and loving every beautiful step of the way, whether it be through green pastures or thorny way, the high places of the Heritage of Jacob, or the shadow of the valley of death, with an eternal perspective, all things may be overcome.

How I live my faith

I do all I can to try and live my life and improve everyday. I do this by applying the teachings of Paul in Acts 20:32 to use the Grace of God to build myself up, Romans 12:1-2 and 2 Corinthian 5:17,becoming a new creature in Christ, and to offer my life as a Living Sacrifice as our Savior did, He performing the Ultimate and Eternal Sacrifice (Alma 34:10). I am a gay member of my community, and I am still in full faith and fellowship in the Restored Gospel. It is not something I chose, but I still choose my own actions. I'm fully planning on becoming a husband to a beautiful wife in this lifetime and having children and being sealed to them in this life, though that is not the path for everyone in my position, as many, straight or gay, will receive a family in the next life and receive all the blessings of such ( A good reference is Psalm 68:6). That may seem strange to many, but it is something that through much prayer and fasting, I have learned is part of my purpose, and I have renewed faith in that after seeing Ty Mansfield and his story of something very much like mine on on the official Church website mormonsandgays.org . Just like all who dwell on this Earth, I have felt pain, and trials and have felt isolated many times, but I have joy. How? John 3:16, 1 John 4:8-10, Alma 7:11-13, 2 Nephi 1:15, 2 Nephi 4:21 His Son came, He was the literal embodiment of Love, He did all for us, His existence is the Eternal Sacrifice, I will also have Their love to help me overcome the flesh. We know from the Lehis vision the Love of God is shed abroad in the Hearts of Men,t he Tree of life, Romans 5:5 it is shared and witnessed by the Holy Ghost, and as we learn of in the reference above to 1 John, that Love is Jesus the very Christ. In and through Him, I truly do have Joy in this Life and I will have it the Eternal World to come.
